ABOUT THE SPEAKER Prof. Barceló is a globally recognized authority on aquatic contaminants, with extensive expertise in the sampling, analysis, fate, toxicity, and removal of microplastics. His leadership in the field is demonstrated by a prolific publication record and numerous invited lectures across Europe, the United States, and China. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) and a Distinguished Scientist at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. His recent receipt of the EuChemS Euroanalysis Prize highlights his significant contributions to analytical chemistry methodologies.
